Our mission: Ergonomics, zero-defect and high-performance production

thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering develops designs, manufactures and supplies turnkey assembly systems of different types – from passenger car to truck transmissions. We also offer the related measurement systems, test equipment and test systems. It is our goal to offer a design that is as ergonomic as possible, offer systems that are highly flexible as well as "zero-defects" in the assembly process.

Our assembly systems are based on a flexible modular system consisting of standard modules. Whether we are building manual or automatic transmissions, dual-clutch transmissions or CVT and additional preassembly of wheel sets, differentials, housings, torque converters and clutch and planetary gear trains – together with our customers we develop optimal concepts.

Possible requirements for the assembly systems may include, ergonomic design in the context of demographic trends, fast and comprehensive process control to ensure a zero-defect assembly and a high flexibility without the loss of productivity.
