thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering has been active as a supplier in the automotive industry for many years and has gained a lot of experience in the design and manufacture of products such as combustion engines and electric motors during this time. Consulting for hydrogen production plants

Our many years of experience in automation show that efficient production consists of 25% product and 75% manufacturing and process knowledge. thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering therefore offers its customers simultaneous engineering (SE) product and process consulting.

After carrying out tests and a comprehensive FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), we identify possible manufacturing / assembly problems and give you specific feedback in order to jointly optimize your product and your process flow.

The results of an SE phase are, for example, an adapted product design, optimized bonding processes, modified sealants and application methods, as well as a system layout that fits into your production hall and the associated cost calculation.

From prototyp e and small series assembly to high-performance production lines, we offer our customers scalable and customized solutions. thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering, with its extensive experience, is your system supplier for the production of:

Bipolar plates (BPP)
the membrane electrode assembly (MEA)
stack and system assembly
test benches, including production data acquisition and control

With our production systems and concepts, production at 1 Hz is already possible today. The production capacity is therefore over 15 million cells and thus more than 50,000 stacks per year.

Factory construction for the production of fuel cells

The current trend shows that customers are increasingly requesting our advice when planning their entire factory design.

From our experience, we can advice to our customers which steps are necessary to realize a complete production or factory. We will work out an estimate of the budget and costs for you. This special offer enables us, together with our cooperation partners, to plan a complete production concept depending on the desired production capacity. In addition, we provide you with estimates of the investment costs (Capital Expenditure, CapEx) as well as the continuous production costs (Operational Expenses, OpEx) and support you in your factory planning.
