Digitization and Industry 4.0 are key innovation drivers in mechanical and plant engineering

At thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering we combine our activities in this area using the term "Future Automotive Factory".

Based on plant data recorded in production and optional additional sensors for recording environmental data, combined with special analysis methods and the knowledge of our automation and process specialists, optimization approaches are analyzed and simulated as far as possible. We look for solutions that offer real added value for production and maintenance.

For us, digital FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) stands for the collection of only the relevant data in the automated IoT (Internet of Things) context.

From these applications, we develop new solutions in the analytics environment. These enable our customers to build up domain knowledge in a specific set of areas on the way to new product environments, especially in the transformation to electromobility.
